FEBRUARY IS HEART MONTH

ONE IN TWO WOMEN AND TWO OF THREE MEN DIE OF HEART ATTACK OR STROKE. Know your risk! Early Prevention makes all the difference!


CARDIOVASCULAR SCREENING AND TESTING DAYS - WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY FEBRUARY 8 & 9

Cardiovascular screening and testing is available at two locations on these special days. Health information and resources on women's heart health and from the American Heart Association will be provided along with the following services:

  • BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING - FREE
  • BMI (Body Mass Index) - FREE
  • WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE - FREE
  • COMPLETE LIPID PROFILE (better assessment of risk than only cholesterol) - $30
  • GLUCOSE - FASTING (an indicator of diabetes or pre-diabetes) - $10
  • INTERPRETATION OF LABS & RISK ASSESSMENT by Cardiologist - $25
  • EKG (Detects rhythm abnormalities, changes that may indicate heart disease) - $40
  • CAROTID ULTRASOUND (for plaque & stroke risk) - $75*
  • ECHOCARDIOGRAM (Cardiac Ultrasound- Assesses heart function, murmur, valve disease) - $100*
  • COMPLETE SET OF TESTING (with Summary Report by Cardiologist) - $255*

Fasting is preferred for all lab tests
